Michael Vial

Michael has had a teaching career in Catholic Education in Adelaide. He was the Manager Religious Education and Faith Formation for Catholic Education SA from 2009-2022, and following retirement became a Trustee of Dominican Education Australia. Some of Michael’s professional interests have included exploring a dialogical Catholic identity and mission of schools in their pluralist contexts, fostering the spiritual formation of school staff who come from various religious backgrounds, contemporary Religious Education, and peace and nonviolence education. Michael is involved in local connections with First Nations people and loves to be in the natural environment. He is married with three adult children and one grandchild (so far!).
